I’m still involved with Second Life. Haven’t seen you online since that first day I met you there. 🙂
Eh, I’m just not sure it’s my kind of environment. Â Don’t get me wrong, there are some nice people there, but I just never really felt comfortable with it. Â And the extensive focus on in-game economy bugged me. Â I know you can do without spending money, but it’s really geared for people to be in a consumer mindset.
There are lots of things going on right now, but not enough time to really write about them. Work is eating me alive right now.
Nothing interesting, I'm in the middle of the exam phase and less than thrilled about it. Luckily, there's the world cup providing solace at the end of the day.
Of course. It's all part of my civilian-21st-century-Europe integration programme.
Hi! I'm replying to my own headmate because I'm that lame.
Â
Also, bored.
I’mmmm… going to Infinitus in a couple of weeks, is that exciting? I’m not thrilled about what the weather is going to be like, though. Why they had to pick July, I have no idea.
(Well, mainly because every year these people have put their con on in July, I think, and in this case partly because they wanted to have it after the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” was open for sure, but still. Ugh. Highs in the 90s, humid, thunderstorms, lows not even going below 70 and even more horribly sticky at night than in the daytime, I’m sure.)
I’m a pretty big Potter nerd, you see.
Oh, wow! A con in Florida in July, that does sound uncomfortable! Hope it's tolerable and you have fun!
