Written on January 9, 2005 while working on the WanderingPaths site.
This poem is my interpretation of one aspect of the flow that is Otherkin.

We are the myths of tomorrow,
the dreams of yesterday.
Of magic and science we borrow,
to walk our paths here today.
The dreams of yesterday,
seeds of legends unborn.
To walk our paths here today,
between two worlds we’re torn.
Seeds of legends unborn,
children of stories untold.
Between two worlds we’re torn,
at one with the new and the old.
Children of stories untold,
of magic and science we borrow.
At one with the new and the old,
We are the myths of tomorrow.
