Just a tiny observation
I’ve been getting a visionary “ping” of something over the past day or two…could be a memory, but I don’t know if that’s necessarily what it is. More like something in my mind’s peripheral vision – possibly a Deity making contact.
I see a goddess, shrouded in dark grey. The name that comes to me is Black Annis. She feels like a very, very ancient goddess.
I also see a man – elven. He wears a dark green cloak embroidered with green leaves. Possibly a manifestation of Herne.
If more comes to me later I will write it down. Leaving this here in case it resonates with anyone else.
Yep! After I posted this, it crossed my mind that I could have worded it a little better, so as not to imply that I had never heard of her. She just isn’t a figure who I’ve worked with in the past, or one that I was terribly familiar with.
I didn’t end up getting any more stream-of-consciousness visions in this vein. Not sure what it was really all about…sometimes things just appear to me in my mind’s eye in a way that seems a bit more vivid than usual. Especially if I’m a genuine, deep trance state. And some persist longer than others. This seems like it was more of a momentary just-passing-through thing though.
As a slight tangent (but maybe not really)….I have made mistakes with this kind of thing in the past. Sometimes I’ve had a tendency to jump to conclusions, or sort of run out of the gate before the start of the horse race. I don’t want to do that anymore.
But I do suspect that over time, with the progression of life and all its different joys and sorrows that affect the heart, there will be other visions. Even now I have experienced some things I can’t explain.
