You are correct about the AI – I’ve never really seen anything like this program before, but basically how it works is you smoosh one picture with another (or as many as you want), and the AI generates a “child” image from the “parents”. Once you create an image you own it, but other users can use it as a parent for their own creations. 

The open-mouthed expressions are – uh – how do I put this – elves having “a good time”. (To borrow a euphemism from this rather NSFW video clip, featuring early ’90s furry art by Brian Swords of York.)
