Just wanted to send out a heads up that despite the demise (at least until further notice) of MythiCalia, the SF Bay Otherkin Meetup is still going. We’ve almost reached a year and a half (minus a couple of no-go months)!
We meet on alternating second Saturdays and second Sundays at various locations around the SF Bay, according to the needs of meetup members. Our next meetup will be on Sunday, February 10th, 1-4 PM in Palo Alto. We will also be hosting a special meetup on Saturday, February 16th, 5:30-8:30 PM at PantheaCon (a large indoor Pagan/esoteric convention in San Jose).
$3 dues per meetup is to help defray the fee Meetup charges to me as organizer. No dues will be charged for the PantheaCon meetup, but a donation to help cover food and drink would be appreciated, and if you are not already attending the con, please note the caveats about parking in the event description link.

Five years on, this monthly meetup is still going. We moved off Meetup.com about a year and a half now, I think. If you are in the area or visiting and interested in joining the meetup, see its homepage on my website. We are also still doing the annual event at PantheaCon; this year is Saturday, February 17th, 5 PM – 10 PM.

Hm, it’s still saying Past for me.
BTW, the “search for other topics with this status” function seems not to work – I get “Error thrown [] operator not supported for strings”. (Clicking on a post tag works as expected.)

Looks like I forgot to hit save, lol. And I found and fixed the bug in the plugin that was causing the error you were experiencing. Searching for posts with the same status should work now.

Back on the topic, one other thing I should add – there are no longer any meetup dues, although donations are appreciated at the PantheaCon event for the food, drink, and swag.

Phew, I forgot I had this thread here. Well, this cancellation message will seem a little odd since I never posted the announcement, but what the hey.
The December meetup has been cancelled due to illnesses and possible inclement weather. Our next meet will be Saturday, January 11th, in San Francisco. And stay tuned for news of our “Mythnic”, or Mythic Picnic, next spring!

The March meetup will be on Saturday, March 14, 2 PM at Au Coquelet Cafe & Restaurant in Berkeley.
This is near the Downtown Berkeley BART station. We normally sit in the back room, which is the main restaurant, not in the front cafe.
