Just a tiny observation
We have been having our meetups online every month since March 2020. (As of this posting in January 2021 there is still no ETA on when we will be back to in-person events, since it depends on vaccinations.)
Our next meetup will be on Saturday, January 9, 2:00 – 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
We hold our online meetups in a Jitsi chat room. The service is similar to Zoom with video and text chat. No account is required. No download is required if you use a web browser; Android and iOS apps are available if desired.
You don’t need to live in the San Francisco Bay area to attend; we welcome visitors, just as we would at physical meetups. Sharing video is not required. Joining the voice chat is also not required, but is recommended as it is where most of the action is. To RSVP and get the room name and password, comment on this post or send me a message.

Hmm, I didn’t receive the RSS notification of this new post until the 15th – not exactly useful. I would expect a short delay because of a daemon only running once every few hours or something, but six days? Is the feed only generated once a week or something?
