Re: being kind-of-multiple-but-not, if I am correctly understanding what you describe, the word most commonly in use for that on the lists used to be “aspected”. Where multiplicity normally implies totally separate beings happening to share the same body/headspace now, with aspects it’s more like they are all you in some core way, but strong or important enough that they maintain some independence from each other as self-concepts. For example, though I identify primarily as fae, I do have a dragon “mode” I can either purposely shift to (sometimes) or which can be brought out in me by being around a lot of dragons (or even just one particularly strong one; that happened at Dancing the Endless Dream or maybe it was the FAE Retreat with one of the guys there). In a sense it’s just another past/other life (actually there are a few dragons I recall), but it resonates enough that it sticks around as “btw I am also a dragon”, present tense, rather than just “this is something I have also been in the past” (such as a few other things like possibly a unicorn and some kind of noncorporeal tree-carer-nature-spirit thing and of course a handful of human lives).
