Continuing on from my last post, I have a new bookmarklet to offer. This one is a bit more advanced version of the Blog Quote Bookmarklet I mentioned before. It now opens in a new layer instead of a new window, so you no longer have to worry about pop-up blockers interfering with it. It's also more intelligent about what exactly is selected; it will no longer select the entire page on a poorly coded page, just the parts you actually select.
So let's give the new bookmarklet a try. First, select the following text:
Now that you've selected that, click on this link to the Blog Quote Bookmarklet v 2.1
Hopefully, it's easy enough to see how that might come in handy. As with last time, if you'd like to use the bookmarklet, just right click on it and select "Bookmark This Link"; or, as I personally recommend, "Bookmark This Link in Delicious" if you're using Firefox with the Delicious Bookmarks extension.
Oh, and as a bonus I've also updated the Stylized Blog Quote Bookmarklet in a similar manner. Have fun!
